I get CCed here at MOM’s on pretty much all customer interactions, as it helps me stay connected to any/all issues that may arise.
The exchange below made me so proud of the people here at MOM’s, who so diligently support our Purpose to protect and restore the environment- right down to the source of the omega-3 in the milk!
“Hi, I frequent the Rockville location. I was wondering if the location will begin to carry the Organic Valley whole milk with omega-3 DHA?”
“Thanks for contacting MOM’s. I spoke with the regional Grocery buyer about Organic Valley’s Omega-3 Milk. We have decided to not stock this item due to concerns about the source of wild anchovies and sardines, which provide the Omega-3 supplement in the milk. MOM’s has a sustainable seafood purchasing policy that is based on recommendations from the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch, and the Peruvian-caught anchovies and sardines do not meet our standards. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. You can find more info about MOM’s Sustainable Seafood on our website: MOM’s Organic Market- Sustainable Seafood
Thanks for shopping at MOM’s!”
This makes my heart so happy, I actually teared up reading the response.
Thanks so much for having a great place for wonderful people to work together and share positive energy and light with us.
